How do I become an 8Ball volunteer?
If you can spare a couple of hours each week to help refurbish computers, why not become an 8Ball volunteer?
Ideally you will have some knowledge of computers, but if not, we can train you. The role entails stripping computers for parts, rebuilding computers, wiping hard drives, reinstalling software, and computer repairs.
Volunteering with 8Ball is a great way to improve your hardware skills. You will also get to know the other volunteers who share an interest in IT, you can feel good about helping the community, and if you are a Murdoch student, you can get recognition for your involvement in the program on your developmental transcript when you graduate.
You don't have to be a student to get involved, everyone is welcome!
